caught between what others want for you... and what you want for yourself. sometimes, you've got to go your own way, whether or not it's breaking the rules. you've just got to get away.

Yes, I do realize that I am entering this into a contest about love...
However, I like to think that there is so much focus on finding love in this world, someone to "complete" yourself, that no one really takes into account how important it is to be content with yourself, by yourself. Alone. I comprised this collage with yellows, representing content, and blues, representing lack of love, along with various quotes that inspire me. And that poetry written in the lower left corner was written by me... and I'm awfully proud of it :D.
 
Anyway, even if this doesn't get picked as a winner, I hope that people who gaze upon this collage soak in the true meaning of it: Love yourself, whoever you are. You don't need a partner to have a great Valentine's Day. Someone out there loves you.
